Where the strain profiles in Munchie Bot come from, and what we changed.

The strain profiles are built from Cannlytics’ cannabis_results dataset, a collection of public cannabis lab results. The dataset is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0).

Thanks to Cannlytics for collecting and publishing it. Cannlytics doesn’t endorse Munchie Bot.

What we changed

We kept flower samples only.
We computed the median cannabinoid and terpene values for each strain.
A strain gets a profile only if it has at least 25 samples from at least 3 producers.

Typical values, not guarantees

A strain profile shows what lab results for that strain usually look like. The product you buy can test quite differently, depending on who grew it, the batch and how it was stored. For the product in your hand, scan its own lab report.
